A Letter to Travelers

Once upon a time, I found joy in setting anime avatars as my PlayStation profile or using them as my social media icons. Characters like C.C. from Code Geass became digital companions in my online world.

But as the sands of time slipped through my fingers, anime series concluded, games shut down their servers, and carefully collected avatars were lost in the labyrinth of computer upgrades.

As I stepped into middle age, I felt my passion for games and anime slowly fading, like the last embers of a once-roaring fire. Yet, amidst this twilight of interests, a tender nostalgia lingers, refusing to be extinguished.

In an attempt to preserve these cherished memories, I've created ANIFILE - a digital sanctuary for character avatars. They come from various works, mostly featuring characters that have captured my interest.

Some avatars have undergone high-definition processing, though AI isn't omnipotent, and the results may vary due to the limitations of the original image quality.

I often wonder if the characters I've loved over the years have found a place in others' hearts too. Perhaps, in this shared appreciation, we can find a connection across the digital divide.
